Description
The village is located in the foothills of the Caucasus Mountains , on the River Tranquil Sinyukha , 2 km east of the village of Podgornaya Sinyukha , 21 km west of the village of Otradnaya , 190 km south-east of Krasnodar and 65 km west of Cherkessk .
A dead-end road Otradnaya - Podgornaya Sinyukha passes through the village.

History
In 1867, the inhabitants of the village of Spokoy were founded as a farm, which in the 1920–1930s was called Spokoynosynyukhinsky (Upper Sinyukhinsky); no later than 1946 transformed into a stanitsa [2] .
