History
The history of the Moroccan national team began in 2005 , when the first artificial ice rink was opened in Rabat , located in one of the capital's shopping centers. One of the founders of hockey in the country was Mirini Khalid, who created the first professional club in Morocco - Rabat Capital. With the help of his brother, he also opened the country's first hockey school [1] . In 2008, the Moroccan national team took part in the debut championship of Arab countries , in which, besides it, the national teams of Kuwait , Algeria and the United Arab Emirates played. The tournament was marked by winning bronze medals.
