Career
A graduate of the Serbian basketball school "Partizan" . He made his debut in professional basketball in the 2004/2005 season, speaking for the Belgrade "Partizan" , and in the first four years of his career he took four country championships in a row.
With Vojvodina , where Borovnyak moved after a successful start in Partizan , Dejan won the Serbian Cup , and in the national team in 2009 became the champion of the Universiade .
Season 2014/2015 Borovnyak held in St. Petersburg "Zenith" . The average player in 35 matches of the VTB United League amounted to 9.9 points and 5.6 rebounds.
