Biography
After graduating from high school, he studied theology in a monastery of the congregation of the Sacred Heart of Jesus . June 9, 1906 was ordained a priest .
March 20, 1921 was appointed the ordinar of the Apostolic Vicariate of Finland. At the beginning of 1923 he was appointed Pope Pius XI titular bishop of Dolichi and the apostolic vicar of Finland. On August 15, 1923, he was ordained bishop of the Apostolic Vicariate of Finland, whose functions he performed until July 26, 1933.
Johannes Books died on September 22, 1946 in Helsinki.
