Vakoshi Station ( Jap. 和 光 市 駅 wako: si eki ) is a railway station on the Fukutosin , Yurakuto, and Tojo lines located in the city of Wako , Saitama Prefecture . The station is designated F-01 on the Fukutosin line and Y-01 on the Yurakutyo line. The station has an automatic platform gate and tactile coating .

History
- February 1, 1934: The station opens on the Tojou Line called Niikura Station ( Jap. に い く ら 駅 ) .
- July 21, 1934: Station names begin to write in kanji (新 倉 駅).
- October 1, 1951: The station was renamed Yamato-Mati ( Jap. 大 和 町 駅 ) .
- December 20, 1970: Received its current name.
- August 25, 1987: The Yurakutyo Line passes through the station.
- June 14, 2008: The Fukutosin Line passes through the station.
