Talabuev Vladislav Nikolaevich ( September 27, 1951 , Sverdlovsk ) is a Russian musician. Jazz and classical saxophonist and clarinet player , ensemble leader, one of the most experienced accompanists of the saxophone group in Yekaterinburg, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation ( 2007 ).

Vladislav Nikolayevich plays saxophones (viola, soprano), clarinet , flute , and the Yamaha WX-5 wind MIDI controller .
He performed with different groups at festivals in Cheboksary , Riga , Leningrad ( 1988 ), Tallinn ( 1988 , 1996 ). He worked and continues to work with bands and musicians: the AmaJazz quartet (1987-94), the big band of Nikolai Baranov (1991-92), the big band of the headquarters of the Central Military District , the jazz quartet White Cadillac (since 1994) , Provincial Dances dance group Yekaterinburg (1991), saxophonist Sergey Letov ( Ural Character 2001 ), Djanglers group (2010), guitarist Nikolai Grigoryev, drummers Igor Zakharov and Yuri Kovalevsky (inaccessible link) , pianist Alexander Titov and many by others.
Biography
Interest in jazz arose in his youth when he heard the recordings of John Coltrane . He admits: "Coltrane was the first to surprise me, and he still surprises me." Later he admired the game of Vladimir Chekasin .
From 1974 he played in various restaurant ensembles, in 1978 he assembled his own quartet with guitarist Eugene Pisak, drummer Yuri Kovalevsky (inaccessible link) and pianist Alexander Mittelman.
During his studies at the Ural State Conservatory named after M.P. Mussorgsky participated in the 1st All-Union competition of musicians –waxists. In 1982 he graduated from the Ural Conservatory in saxophone.
Since 1982, he regularly performed with various groups at festivals in Cheboksary , Riga , Leningrad ( 1988 ), Tallinn ( 1988 , 1996 ). He participated as a soloist, as the leader of a quartet, saxophone ensemble, big band in the All-Union and International Jazz Festivals, repeatedly became their laureate. Including as part of the headquarters orchestra of the Central Military District in Budapest ( Hungary 1998), in Germany ( Bavaria 2001), and at international festivals of brass military bands of the NATO countries in Mönchengladbach ( Germany 2004).
In 1983-2008 he worked in the orchestra of the Yekaterinburg State Circus .
Since 1989, as a soloist-improviser, he has been invited to the orchestra of the Honored Artist of Russia, Yuri Li, with whom he performed in Germany , Belgium , South Korea , Holland , France , and Japan .
In 1992 he organized the Yekaterinburg-92 saxophone ensemble and became the accompanist of the saxophone group in the big band of the Directorate of Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Urals.
In 1995 he moved to the big band of the headquarters of the Central Military District . In parallel, he collaborated with musicians of all directions (in 1987-94 he was a member of the trio in the group "AmaJazz", in 1981-82 he played in the big band of Nikolai Baranov ).
In 2007, she was awarded the honorary title “ Honored Artist of the Russian Federation ”.
From 2008 to 2010 he worked with youth in the field of continuing education.
Since 2010, he has been managing the Calendar jazz student orchestra of the Ural Mining Academy.
