History
The shape of the ship repeats the traditional Arabian ship - the dhow . The construction of the ship was carried out directly in Oman. Along with other yachts, the sailboat is included in the division of royal yachts of the Navy of Oman, although it is not considered as a full-fledged ship and is often not taken into account in reference books.
Designed by Colin Madi and Burness Corlett. In 1988, it was first used to celebrate the opening of the port of Sultan Qaboos in Muscat, and after sea trials and detailing was transferred to the new owner. The hull and superstructures were built of wood. Despite the small size, it was possible to accommodate a spacious saloon, and a small draft allows you to approach the small berths that are located directly near the coast.
The yacht cruises along the coast of the Persian Gulf , so recently the yacht made a voyage calling at the ports of Kuwait , the UAE and Iran .
