Appearance
The passport of a citizen of Malta is fully consistent with European Union standards. On the burgundy cover in the center is the coat of arms of Malta. On the top of the front side is the phrase UNJONI EWROPEA ( Russian: European Union ) and under it the name of the country. Under the coat of arms is the name of the document in English (Passport) and the symbol of the biometric passport .
Malta Visa Requirements
According to the data for the third quarter of 2019, citizens of Malta had the right of free entry (without obtaining a visa or obtaining a visa upon arrival) in 182 countries of the world, including the right of free movement within the European Economic Area [2] . Malta Passport ranked 7th in the Passport Index , published by Henley & Partners , a consultancy with IATA . [3]
Citizens of Malta require a visa to visit the Russian Federation .
