Biography
Andrei Podoshyan was born on December 4, 1958 in Moscow. He began acting in films in the mid-1970s. The first acting work was the main role - the Prince - in the fairy tale film "The Princess and the Pea " (1976) according to G. H. Andersen .
In 1977 he entered the Boris Shchukin Theater Institute at the faculty of "Theater and Film Actor" (artistic director of the course Leonid Vladimirovich Kalinovsky). In 1980, at the invitation of Oleg Nikolaevich Efremov, he joined him in an acting and directing course at the Moscow Art Theater School. Vl. I. Nemirovich-Danchenko at the Moscow Art Theater. A.P. Chekhov . He graduated in 1982.
From 1982 to 1984 he served in the Soviet Army. After returning from the army, he continued shooting in the cinema.

Photography and Painting
Andrei Podoshyan is an original photographer and painter. According to Podoshyan, the main thing for him is that each photograph or picture should have its own dramaturgy, and not be an empty statement of fact.
In 2001, he was admitted to the Creative Union of Russian Artists in the painting section. In the same year, his first personal photo exhibition was held in the Grand Arena . In 2002, Andrei Podoshyan was awarded a thank-you note from the Trade Union Committee of the Presidential Administration for participating in a personal exhibition in the Government House of the Russian Federation . From constant travels, he brings a lot of photographic material, which allows him to cooperate fruitfully with magazines as the author of photographs and article texts. His art photographs and paintings are in private collections both in Russia and abroad.
Andrei Podoshyan has shot hundreds of portfolios for actors and models. How the designer creates theatrical posters, annual wall calendars, covers for music discs. Sometimes he works on the set as a photographer, giving preference to "costume", retro plots. On his account, photo shoots and movie posters for films by such famous directors as Sergey Solovyov , Vladimir Khotinenko , Margarita Terekhova , Alexander Khvan . Podoshyan collaborates with interior designers, decorating the walls of residential and non-residential premises with his own photo posters, paintings and graphics.
