Summerlam

lSummerSlam is an annual pay-per-view show hosted by the World Wrestling Entertainment Professional Wrestling Federation in August. The first show took place on August 29, 1988 at the Madison Square Garden arena in New York and was distributed by subscription, unlike the Battle of the same year, which was shown on the USA Network . The show was called "The Biggest Summer Event" and is considered one of the four original WWE PPV shows (along with WrestleMania , Battle Royale and Survivor Series ) and is called the second most important show in the year after WrestleMania .
