Not So Quiet on the Western Front is a hardcore compilation released in 1982 by Alternative Tentacles . She documented the music of scenes from Northern California and Nevada. The recording was later reissued on CD in 1999.

About the album
The compilation was released with Jeff Bale (Permanent Columnist of MaximumRocknRoll ) and his label Sonic Reducer Records. The third participant in the selection of tracks for the collection was Tim Johannen. Not So Quiet on the Western Front was the first compilation to document the scenes of Northern California and Nevada (later the idea of releasing such collections was picked up by other labels in other cities). The first issue of MRR was attached to the record before it was called MRR. [one]
