Geography
Located in the south-eastern part of the Novosibirsk region . The distance from the Iskitim district center is 5 km. The length of the settlement from north to south is 10 km, from west to east - 30 km.

Infrastructure
On the territory of the settlement there are agricultural enterprises , an enterprise for the production of furniture , trade , housing and communal services , telecommunications , health care , and education .
The specialization of the settlement is agriculture : ZAO Agrofirm Lebedevskaya, ZAO Kochenevskaya Poultry Factory.
Industrial production is carried out by Salair CJSC (manufacture and sale of furniture).
Medical services for residents are provided by the Lebedev outpatient clinic and feldsher-midwife stations in the village of Sosnovka , p. Mayak , at st. Rural .
In the education system , there is one kindergarten, three comprehensive schools and an art school.
Libraries operate in the villages of Lebedevka and Sosnovka , in the village of Mayak . MUK "Lebedev Leisure Center", which united the House of Culture with. Winch and clubs with. Sosnovka , p. Mayak , and Art. Rural .
