History
Originally known as The Red Room Theory from 2004 to 2006, they changed their name to that proposed by another Glamor Of The Kill . The group became popular largely thanks to Metal Hammer magazine, which rated their debut album with a 10/10 rating. This led to tours with Bullet For My Valentine, Darkest Hour, Avenged Sevenfold.
2008
The year 2008 was marked by a series of events in the life of the group, namely: the guys signed a contract with Siege of Amida Records and released another EP called “Glamor Of The Kill”, which contains a reissued version of the popular track of the previous EP “Rise From Your Grave”. This EP has also received high marks from critics throughout the UK. Glamor of the Kill is also featured in Kerrang! Best British Newcomer nomination. They also performed on the main stage of the Download Festival.
2009—2010
They also participated in a tour with Dragonforce and announced a tour called “Tour In For The Kill,” which took place in March 2010. In the summer of 2009, GOTK played on the stage of the Sonisphere, European festival, headlined by Metallica and Linkin Park.
2011
On November 6, the band announced the name for their debut full-length album: “The Summoning”.
2014
In November, an EP called “After Hours” was released, this EP was the final one, because in 2015 the group announced its breakup.
