Olga Sergeevna Rypakova (before her marriage, Alekseeva , born November 30, 1984 , Ust-Kamenogorsk , Kazakh SSR ) is a Kazakhstan athlete specializing in long jumps , triple jumps and heptathlon . Champion of the Olympic Games in London (2012), silver medalist at the Beijing Olympics (2008) and bronze medalist at the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro (2016) in the triple jump. 2010 World Champion Indoor Triple Jump.

In 2016, the International Olympic Committee and the World Anti-Doping Agency disqualified the Greek athlete Chrysopia Devetsi for doping and Rypakova awarded the bronze medal of the 2008 World Athletics Championships in Valencia ( Spain ). In 2017, after the disqualification of the same Dedetsi and the Russian jumper Tatyana Lebedeva, the Kazakh athlete was awarded the silver medal of the 2008 Olympics in Beijing for doping [1] .
Biography
In 2001, she graduated from the East Kazakhstan Regional Boarding School for Gifted in Sports. Trained under the guidance of his father - S. D. Alekseev . 2010 world champion in long jump, three-time Asian champion in triple jump and once in heptathlon, 2007 Universiade champion in Bangkok ( Thailand ) in triple jump. Honored Master of Sports . He currently resides and trains in Ust-Kamenogorsk .
At the 2012 Olympics, she was the first in the preliminary round with a score of 14.79 m. She won with a score of 14.98 m in the final of the Olympic Games in London .
Married, husband Denis Rypakov is a runner, silver medalist in the 400 m run of the World Universiade in Daegu ( South Korea , 2003 ). Daughter - Nastya and son - Cyril [2] .

The best result in the triple jump - 15.25 - was set on September 4, 2010 in Split ( Croatia ). This result is the record for Asia in the triple jump in the open air.
