Delgosha or Delkeshad [1] ( pers. دلگشا ) is a small city in the west of Iran , in the province of Ilam . Northern suburb of Arkvaz . It is part of the shahrestan Mehran . As of 2006, the population was 3,931 people [2] ; Kurds prevail in the national composition.

Geography
The city is located in the central part of Ilam, in the highlands of western Zagros , at an altitude of 1,369 meters above sea level [1] . Delgosha is located approximately 28 kilometers southeast of Ilam , the provincial capital, and 500 kilometers southwest of Tehran , the country's capital.
