Club career
Mkrtchyan was born in Leninakan . He is a student of local football. From an early age began to get involved in football. From 8 years old I started training, and since then I have not seen myself outside of football. And at the age of 17 he was included in “ Shirak-2 ”, which played in the championship of the first league of Armenia. He made his debut a year later in the 2002 season, having spent 6 matches per team. This was followed by conscription. After 2 years he returned to the club location and concluded his first contract in 2005. Each subsequent season strengthened Mkrtchyan's position in the team. Since 2007, he has been the main player. In 2011, he became a finalist in the Armenian Cup . However, the trophy went to Mika , who beat Shirak with a score of 1: 4.
