James Stephen Gresley ( born James Stephen Gresley ; 1829-1908) - British landscape painter, founder of the dynasty of derbyshire artists.

Biography
Born in Sandiakra in Derbyshire . His son was Frank Grezley , who, in turn, had two sons, Harold and Katberg, each of whom was known as an artist [1] . Grezli had many paintings included in the “ Goody collection” and the corresponding book [2] .
Grezli lived in Draycott, Vorrowosh and Chellaston in Derbyshire, as well as in Yorkshire [3] , where he created watercolors of the nature of these counties [4] . He died at Wakefield in Yorkshire in 1908 after exhibitions in London and at Wakefield itself. Several of his paintings are in the Museum and Art Gallery of Derby [5] ; one of them for 2011 is on display at Goody's Room in the Derby Central Library .
