History
Krasnoselsky district was formed in 1937 .
It was abolished in 1995 during the transition of Armenia to a new administrative-territorial division [1] .
Geography
As of January 1, 1948, the territory of the district was 689 km².
Administrative Division
As of 1948, the district included 14 village councils : Agbulakhsky, Artanishi, Bashkendsky, Verin-Chambaraksky, Gelkendsky, Dzhilsky, Karakayansky, Krasnoselsky, Nor-Bashgyuhsky, Ordzhonikidzevsky, Tokhludzhinsky, Tytuzhursky, Chaykendsky [ Shor ] .
