Biography

Ritchson was born in Grand Forks , North Dakota in the family of retired Air Force employee David and schoolteacher Vicki. The middle of the three brothers is the elder brother Eric and the younger Brian. As a child, his family moved to Ranto, Illinois . At the age of 10, his family settled in Nysville, Florida. [1] He studied at Niceville High School, which he graduated in 2002. Alan began his modeling career with work for the Abercrombie and Fitch catalog; also advertised underwear for internationaljock.com [2] .

In May 2006, he married Katherine Ritchson. The couple has three sons: Kalem (2012), Edan (2014) and Amory Tristan (12/06/2015) [3] .

Career

In 2008, he began work at the Los Angeles-based agency Vision Model Management and took part in the advertising of erotic lingerie N2N Bodywear. By early 2009, Ritchson had finished working for Abercrombie and Fitch.

Appeared in the talent show " American Idol ", where he took 87th place in the list of the best participants in the third season, before he went to Hollywood . Alan earned the approval of Paula Abdul by performing a striptease [4] .
