It begins on the southern slope of Mount Lauchan [4] . It flows in the general southeastern direction over the area overgrown with a birch forest, skirting the Kabalan mountain [4] . It falls into the Shanuch river on the left at a distance of 21 km from its mouth [3] .
The main tributaries are the Yakut, Wild (right); Squirrel, Baby (left) [4] .
According to the state water register of Russia, it belongs to the Anadyro-Kolyma basin district . The code of the water body is 19080000212120000030317 [3]
