About the album

A trash is something that goes beyond good and evil. Something completely indescribable. Not rubbish in its pure form, but something ... terrible, close to extreme horror

- Gleb Samoilov for Open.Space.ru, October 5, 2011 [5]

Speaking of texts, for me he (the album) turned out to be even more frank and personal. Musically, he is more guitar than electronic, rather heavy. And I would call our style “neo-post-Gothic” again - this fits both the first album and the second.

- Gleb Samoilov for Vesti.Ru, October 3, 2011 [6]

Work on the disc lasted from January to August 2011. The album has 16 tracks. The sound of the group has changed to a more “guitar” side, the number of keyboards has become noticeably smaller [7] .

The album was released in a regular, limited and fan edition. The limited edition [8] included a DVD recording of the group’s concert in the Waiting Room club with the program “Beautifully Cruel” on May 15, 2011 [9] . The fan edition, in addition to the limited edition, contained the issue of RockOracle - The Dark Culture Magazine [10] with an interview by Gleb Samoilov and autographs of all members of the group, an icon, a postcard with a photo of the group and a postcard that was attached to the limited edition of the album “ Beautifully Cruel ” as bonus.

In the design of the disc used the work of Alexei Belyaev-Gintovt [11] . The word "Tresh" is written through the letter "e" to enhance the aesthetic effect of the cover [12] [13] .

Video clips were shot for three songs of the album: “Make Bombs” [12] , “Cosmos” [14] [15] and “We Are Under Fire” [16] actively broadcast on music television channels.

On September 28, 2011, a press conference was held on the release of Tresh [17] [18] , and the album was presented at the Moscow club P! PL on October 1 [19] .

The album was posted for free download on the band’s official website [20] .

Duet with Alexei Nikonov

- The song “Make bombs, not sex” can bring you under a criminal article.

- In the song, I do not call, but, on the contrary, regret this trend. The era of flowers is over. “Peace to the world” is in the past. Now everything is decided by bombs - bombs of aggressor states, bombs of terrorists.

- Gleb Samoilov for the weekly “Arguments of the Week", July 19, 2012 [21]

A joint project with Aleksey Nikonov was planned for several years, "How it ripened - so ripened" [22] . The whole process of working on the song took about five hours [23] , was shot on video and became the basis of the clip [24] . At concerts, the song sounded only three times, separately neither Gleb nor Aleksey Nikonov performed it [23] .

Criticism

Many critics saw Tresh as a continuation of The Brutal Fine. [28]

Opinions on the second album, as well as on the first, diverged from “music compared to“ Beautiful Cruelty ”is very often simply banal, songs that are called“ don’t catch ”...” [20] and up to “they sound easily comparable to the best Western samples ” [7] , about the texts - from“ not without reason and the album has such a name, and the track of the same name can be taken as some kind of recognition that “yes, they say, not a fountain“. The refrain refrain “Mudatka film - horror, Mudatka film - porn” can be taken simply for a brief retelling of the main songs from the album. The subjects of the lyrics range from pedophilia and homosexuality to, it seems, just an absurd set of words ” [20] to“ very diverse and deep work ” [28] and“ one of the most interesting and controversial records in Russian rock music ” [29] .
