Sarpol-e-Zahab or Sar-e-Pol-e-Zohab ( Persian شهرستان سرپل ذهاب ) is one of the 14 regions ( shahrestanov ) of the Iranian province of Kermanshah . The administrative center is the city of Sarpol-e-Zahab . The population of the region for 2006 was 81,428 people. The national composition is dominated by Kurds .
