It is part of the Borisov rural settlement [1] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division - the Borisov village council.
The village was built in the 1930s on the narrow-gauge railway peat enterprise "Dedovo Field". The railway was dismantled in 2008 [2] .
The distance by road to the regional center of Chagoda is 20 km, to the center of the municipality of the village of Borisovo - 4 km. The nearest town is Borisovo .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 27 people (14 men, 13 women). The predominant nationality is Russian (96%) [3] .
