Located on the right bank of the river Chagoda . The distance by road to the district center of Chagoda is 21 km, to the center of the municipality of the village Smerdomsky - 4 km. The nearest settlements are Anisimovo , Oksyukovo , Smerdomsky .
According to the 2002 census, the population was 256 people (112 men, 144 women). The predominant nationality is Russians (97%) [2] .
