Content
History
On January 29, 1973, Pope Paul VI issued the bull “Christi iussum,” which established the diocese of Kohima-Imphal, isolating it from the diocese of Dibrugarh .
On March 28, 1980, Pope John Paul II issued the bull Cum Nos , which divided the diocese of Kohima-Imphal into two dioceses: Imphal and Kohima.
