Diocese of Jahansi ( Latin: Dioecesis Ihansiensis ) is a diocese of the Roman Catholic Church with its center in the city of Jahansi , India . The Diocese of Jahansi is included in the Metropolis of Agra . The Cathedral of the Diocese of Jahansi is the Cathedral of St. Anthony of Padua .

History
On January 12, 1940, Pope Pius XII issued a bull Ad evangelicam veritatem , which he established the apostolic prefecture of Jahansi, separating it from the diocese of Allahabad .
On July 5, 1954, Pope Pius XII issued the bull Apostolica Praefectura , which transformed the apostolic prefecture of Jahansi into a diocese.
On February 9, 1999, the Diocese of Jahansi transferred part of its territory for the construction of the new Diocese of Gwalior .
