Neronovo - the former Cherevins manor in the village of the same name in the Soligalichsky district of the Kostroma region , earlier - in the Losevsky volost of the Soligalichsky district of the Kostroma province . One of the few noble estates preserved in the Kostroma region.

Neronovo is located about 30 km south of Soligalich , on the high bank of the Veksa River , not far from the ancient tract to Chukhloma . Since 1697 it belonged to the nobles Cherevins. By the beginning of the XIX century. here a manor complex was formed, in which, in addition to two dozen different rear ones, there were greenhouses, greenhouses, a farmyard with an arena, stables, cowsheds and a house. On the estate there were also regular and landscape parks, orchards. In the center of the estate was a brick two-story manor house, rectangular in plan (24 x 26.6 m). In 1790, the manor church of the Resurrection was consecrated, which was decorated with a baroque five-tiered iconostasis. The estate was an extensive library, numbering about 4 thousand books published in the XVII-XIX centuries. There were several especially valuable books in the Cherevino library, for example: a Slavonic Bible printed by Ivan Fedorov in Ostrog in 1581, a manuscript list of the 17th century Soligalich chronicler. and other rarities [1] .
From Neronov come portraits of the owners of the estate , painted in the middle of the 18th century by the local portrait painter G. S. Ostrovsky .

The complex of non-residential buildings (cultural heritage site “Cherevinsky estate”) consisting of: the main house, manager’s house, utility wing, assistant manager’s house, bathhouse / ... / with the simultaneous alienation of the land plot under the monument-estate “Cherevyinyh” area of 162429 sq.m . / ... / The property was sold at an auction held on December 28, 2010. / ... / Transaction price - 594 thousand rubles.
