History
In the XIX century - the village of Cherkasy district of the Kiev province of the Russian Empire , in 1838 the sugar factory of Count Bobrinsky was built here [1] .
In 1891 - a place [2] .
In 1923, the population was 980 people, there was a large sugar factory [3] .
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by German troops .
According to the 2001 census, the population was 4,544 people.
