High 'n' Dry (Rus. "To the mercy of fate") - the second studio album of British hard rock band Def Leppard , released in 1981. He became the penultimate record of the group that Pete Willis worked on. The title track "High 'n' Dry (Saturday Night)" took 33rd position on the VH1's 40 Greatest Metal Songs list. The album reached number 26 on the UK Albums Chart and 38 on the Billboard 200 . Thanks to the success of Pyromania in 1983, High 'n' Dry again hit the charts in the United States, rising to 72nd place. Two singles were released: Let It Go (1981) and Bringin 'On The Heartbreak (1981). The 1984 remix of the single “Bringin 'on the Heartbreak” reached number 61 on the Billboard Hot 100 . The album went double platinum in the USA and platinum in Canada.
