The length of the river is 21 km [3] . It takes its roots at the foot of the southern spurs of Mount Rainy [4] . It flows into Icha [5] on the right at a distance of 133 km from its mouth [3] .
The hydronym is supposedly of Itelmen origin, its exact value has not been established [6] .
The river is the site of salmon spawning [7] .
According to the state water register of Russia, it belongs to the Anadyro-Kolyma Basin District [3] .
