Located 200 m from the left bank of the Moscow River; at the same distance from the village is the Teterino - Ruza highway. In the immediate vicinity of Shishimorov is the pioneer camp "Young Sailor", which is currently not used for its intended purpose. The nearest settlements: the village of Shelomovo, as well as (across the river) Big Tesovo and Krasny Stan.
As in many villages of the Moscow region, most of the houses in Shishimorov are summer houses, where they live mainly in the summer.
When leaving the village, there is a chapel in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Virgin (architect - Nikolai Borisovich Vasnetsov
