History
Posters
From its founding until the early 1990s, OSPAAAL issued color propaganda posters and distributed them worldwide with its Tricontinental magazine. With the collapse of the USSR, the Cuban economy, which was extremely dependent on injections from the USSR, collapsed, and poster printing was discontinued due to financial problems. However, in 2000, the publication of posters was restored.
Posters usually have text in English, French, Spanish, and sometimes Arabic, as they are intended for an international audience. Multi-colored posters with revolutionary appeals have become collectibles.
