Bernt Assar Rönnlund ( Swedish: Bernt Assar Rönnlund ; September 3, 1935 , Sevar , commune Umeå , Len Westerbotten , Sweden - January 5, 2011 , Umeå ) - Swedish skier , Olympic champion of the Winter Games in Innsbruck ( 1964 - in the relay 4 × 10 km), two-time silver medalist of the Olympic Games - 1964 in the 50 km race (silver) and in Grenoble ( 1968 - in the relay 4 × 10 km) (also silver).

The athlete achieved the greatest success at the World Championships in cross-country skiing in Zakopane (1962), where he won two gold (15 km and relay 4 × 10 km) and silver (50 km) medals. For these achievements, he was awarded the annual Svenska Dagbladet Gold Medal .
He made a decisive contribution to the victory of the Swedish relay team at the Winter Games (1964) in Innsbruck, taking it from fourth to first place. Also won a silver medal in the 50 km marathon. Four years later, at the Winter Olympics in Grenoble (1968), he became the second in the 4x10 km relay.
In 1967, Vasaloppet won the super marathon.
After completing his sports career, he worked as a commentator on Swedish Radio.
He was married to a Swedish skier, two-time Olympic champion of Grenoble (1968) Toyni Gustafsson .
