Artashen ( Armenian Հարթաշեն ) is a village in Armenia , Ashotsk district, Shirak region . The population is 170 people. Since October 2016, it has been part of the Sarapat community [2] .

Artashen is located about 33 kilometers north-west of the city of Spitak .
