Minrep is a steel , hemp or nylon cable or chain for attaching an anchor sea mine to an anchor and keeping it at a certain distance from the surface of the water. To keep the mines at a certain depth, regardless of the bottom relief, the minrep is wound on a view ( bobbin ).
