History
The village of Bakai (Bakaevo) was founded [3] by the yasak Tatars in 1785. By the 5th revision in 1795, according to the first version, service Tatars from the village of Sultanmuratovo settled here, according to the second (?) 5 yasak and 20 service Tatars from the village of Tolbazy , who had previously arrived from the village of Big Red Yar of the Nizhny Novgorod province .
Until 1930, it entered the Urshak-Minsk volost of the Sterlitamak canton .
The village of Bakaevo has been known since the 30s of the XVIII century. In 1739, the Ufa resident, Shishkovsky, sold a Bashkir merchant to a Balakhonian merchant who bought Aldara Akymbetov from the Bashkirs in the village of Bakayev, for 3 rubles. In 1902, the village was called Bakai Tursagalino on the river. Tursagali , consisting of 9 yards, where 66 Tatars lived. She also bore another name: Belekey Dyurtyuli.
At the beginning of the 20th century, it was inhabited by several residents from the village of Krasny Yar (Kyzyl Yar), formed in 1927 by natives of Sultanmurat, which disappeared from the district map in the 60s of the XX century.

According to the 2002 census , the predominant nationality is Tatars (71%) [5] .
