Platydracus stercorarius (lat.) Is a carnivorous [3] species of coleoptera from the family of predator beetles . Distributed in Europe [4] . Imago body length is about 20 mm [5] . Live in dry areas. They feed on carrion [6] . One of the main enemies of this species is the predatory hairy stafilin beetle ( Emus hirtus ) [3] .
