Ai-Todor lighthouse is one of the oldest lighthouses of the Black Sea , located on the southernmost spur of Ai-Todor cape. The height of the fire from the sea level is 87 m, flashing - two flashes with a period of 6 seconds., The color of the flash is green [2] [3] . A giant pistachio over 1000 years old grows near the lighthouse [4] .

History
The lighthouse was founded in 1835 with the direct participation of the Black Sea Fleet commander M. P. Lazarev . [5] The present tower was built in 1876.
During its history, the lighthouse ceased operation three times: in 1854-1855 during the Crimean War , in 1877 during the Russian-Turkish war and in 1941-1944 during the Great Patriotic War .
In 1947-1948, the tower, residential building and services were thoroughly restored. In 1948, a radio beacon was installed in a specially constructed building. In 1965, the CRM-100 radio beacon was installed. In 1984, the KRM-300 radio beacon was installed in the same building, providing a range of 150 miles. [6]
