Russo-Balt type T

Russo-Balt type T - anti-aircraft armored car of the Armed forces of the Russian Empire . It is the first serial armored car of this class, adopted by the armies of the Russian Empire . It was developed in 1914 - 1915 on the basis of the chassis of a Russo-Balt T truck. Had a partial reservation of the body and cab; the armament was a 76-mm anti-aircraft gun of the 1914/15 model , also known as a 3-d Lender anti-aircraft gun [1] . In 1915, as part of a small series, 4 armored vehicles of this type were assembled.

In addition to armored vehicles, four vehicles were also built - “charging boxes”, designed to transport ammunition and fuel to anti-aircraft armored vehicles in combat conditions. Structurally, cars - “charging boxes” were similar to armored cars, but they used the cargo base of the Russo-Balt M car.

Russo-Balt type T anti-aircraft armored vehicles and “charging boxes” vehicles were actively used by units of the Russian Imperial Army during the First World War [2] .
