Kalininsky district (Novosibirsk)

Kalininsky district was formed from a part of the territory of the Dzerzhinsky district according to the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of October 20, 1980 , in connection with the planning of the construction of large residential areas in the northern part of the city. In December 1997, the working village Pashino , which became a kind of enclave of the city, was included in the district. In 2005, the village of Cranberry was joined to the district.

The population of the district is 12.44% of the total population of the city.

There is no official administrative division of the district; unofficially it is subdivided into 9 residential areas and historical areas:

Over the years of the district's existence, new large neighborhoods have been built: “ Bullfinches ”, “ Springs ”, “Yubileiny” , “Plekhanovsky” .

Educational institutions are among the most important objects in new housing estates. Built 8 new schools. Since its inception, 17 kindergartens have been built in the district, of which 5 are children’s combines with swimming pools. The total number of preschool institutions is 31 (the number of children at the end of 2000 is 4692 people). According to the concept of the development of the district, the education system received replenishment - a gymnasium named after them appeared Kalinin. Now there are 70 educational institutions in the district, including non-state ones, such as the Orthodox Gymnasium, “Eco-School”, “Steps”, “Harmony”. Municipal secondary schools - 31 (the number of students at the beginning of the 2000/2001 school year - 21,202 people). On the territory of the district there are 7 secondary schools: the Polytechnic College and non-state - the College of Psychology, the Business College (the number of students at the beginning of the 2000/2001 school year is 1,909), as well as 2 vocational lyceums and 2 vocational schools. The higher school is represented by a non-state institution - the New Siberian University. There are 6 municipal teen clubs (4,033 teenagers are involved).

Health care is developing in the Kalininsky district: a building was built in the medical unit No. 25 for 240 beds, 3 clinics, a women's consultation, new buildings of the hospital No. 4 in Pashino, a dairy kitchen in Snegiry, a dispensary of a chemical concentrate plant in Sosnovy Bor, a pharmacy. There are 9 medical and prophylactic institutions, a large outpatient-polyclinic network, the municipal hospital number 25 with 810 beds.

On the territory of the district are located the concert and sports complex “Siberia” , the sports complex “North”, the swimming pool “Neptun ” , the recreation and recreation center “Sosnovy Bor” , the recreation center for them. Gorky cinema "Cosmos", the club "Rest" destroyed and other leisure facilities. Kalininsky district has its own face: monumental-rigorous forms of architectural creations of the past years are combined with light, fast-moving lines of modern, unusual design of streets, a lot of greenery.

Since the beginning of the 1980s, the district has a Board of Directors of enterprises of the district, which discusses socially important issues. In order to improve the quality of housing and communal services, municipal institutions have been created - the Customer Directorate for housing and communal services of the Kalininsky district, Liftservice of the Kalininsky district, and the Central Emergency Dispatch Service. The complex center for social rehabilitation of minors “Bereginya”, the youth center for children “Youth”, the Center for Social Services and much more appeared here. The district holiday "Dad, Mom, I - a sports family" has been revived here.

The total area of ​​the housing stock is 2861.5 thousand square meters, including the municipal one - 2442.4 thousand square meters.

Kalininsky district occupies one of the leading positions in the city’s economy: about 22% of Novosibirsk’s goods and services are produced here. On the territory of the district 2950 enterprises are registered, including 15 large and medium industrial enterprises. The undisputed leader among the industrial enterprises of the area is the Novosibirsk Chemical Concentrates Plant (NZHK). Its share in the total volume of goods and services is currently more than 80%. JSC "Rusich" provides confectionery 90% of the local market. The production of fuel elements, equipment, components for nuclear power plants, and, in addition, the production of defense products - the main feature of the district economy. The growth in industrial output in the first quarter of 2001 was 14%, not counting the NPCC. The growth of jobs in industrial enterprises - 6.5%. The oldest enterprises of the region: JSC Iskra mechanical plant Novosibirsk ( JSC Iskra NMZ ), Promstalkonstruktsiya OJSC, Federal State Unitary Enterprise Production Association Sever , PO Elektron . Five enterprises of the district became winners in the contest “Best Enterprise for Social Partnership - is the flagship of the domestic nuclear energy - NZHK, mechanical plant "Iskra", CJSC "Specialized installation and commissioning management № 70", OJSC "Promstalkonstruktsiya" and CJSC "Assembly and construction management No. 78". In terms of wages in industry con- cern district ranked second in average wages in the Kalinin district of one of the highest in the city -. 9457 rubles.

Of the total number of registered enterprises in the Kalininsky district, 2675 are small businesses. Of these, 45% is trade, in second place is production and construction - 15% and 13%, respectively, 3% and 4% each - transport and education. In order to develop small business, Kalininsky District Council of Entrepreneurs was established.

Consumer goods production is growing and is 20% of the total. Over the past 10 years, the trading network has grown almost 10 times - there were 82 trading companies in the region, which was 760. The number of micro-markets is 8.

According to the Department of the Federal Employment Service at the end of 2000, the number of unemployed people in employment seeking employment and registered with the employment service was 762, of which 718 were recognized as unemployed.
