Hohan (khan - goose) - the 24th letter of the Lao alphabet , denotes the deaf glottal crevice consonant [h], in the Thai alphabet it corresponds to the 41st letter of hohip . In a syllable it can be an initial and an unpronounceable letter in the composition of digraphs with lower class letters. As an initial, it refers to the consonant axonsung (upper class) and can form syllables pronounced in 1st, 5th and 6th tone.
