Allosmaitia strophius

Allosmaitia strophius (lat.) - Lepidoptera species from the family Lycaenidae . Distributed from Panama to Brazil , as well as in Mexico , Guatemala ^[1] . They live in arid and moist subtropical forests and shrubs ^[2] . Caterpillars feed on Malpighia flowers ^[2] . Wingspan 22–32 mm ^[2] .
