Biography
Johnny To began his career at the age of 17 as a courier at the TVB station in Hong Kong. Having advanced through the ranks, from 1973, he served as director and executive producer. Having debuted in cinema in 1980 with the film “ Mysterious Case ”, he continued to work on television.
He became known to the general public when his film “All About A Long” with Chow Yunfat in the title role became one of the main box office hits of the year. In 1988, he and Tsui Harkom, withdrew his first action movie, Big Business. In the late eighties, That achieved commercial success with a large number of his films, mainly comedies.
