Biography
Ernst Gottlieb - the eldest son of Prince Anhalt-Pöltskau Augustus and his wife Sibylla Solms-Laubach, daughter of Count Johann Georg Solms-Laubach.
Ernst Gottlieb succeeded his father Augustus and ruled in Anhalt-Pökau with his younger brothers Leberecht and Emanuel since 1653. Ernst Gottlieb died the following year, seven months after the death of his father, before his brothers inherited Anhalt-Köthen .
Ernst Gottlieb was a member of the Fruitful Society .
