Tubaran ( port. Tubãrao - shark) is a gas field in Mozambique . Located on the Mozambique Channel . Opened in February 2011 with the Tubarão-1 well [ specify ] .

The operator of the field is Anadarko Petroleum (36.5%). Other partners are Mozambican Empresa Nacional de Hidrocarbonetos (15%), Japanese Mitsui (20%), Scandinavian Cove Energy (8.5%), Indian Bharat Petro Resources Ltd. (10%) and Videocon (10%).
