The Archaeological Garden or Archologischer Garten ( German: Archäologischer Garten ) is an excavation site of ancient ruins in the center of Frankfurt .

The garden is located between the Techniches Rathouse, the Kunsthalle Screen and Frankfurt Cathedral . In 1953, the remains of a Roman settlement were found here, including the Roman bath. Archaeologists have also discovered the remains of the royal palace of the XII century . The garden was built in 1972-74. during the construction of the Dom / Römer metro station.
