History
The three-altar Holy Mitrofanovsky temple was founded in 1994 . [1] in honor of the great saints of God, the heavenly patrons and intercessors of the land of Voronezh Saints Mitrofan , Tikhon and Anthony . In 1996, its construction began, but due to lack of funds the work was carried out slowly and often stopped. In 2003, Vasily Popov was appointed rector of the church and over the next 5 years the construction was almost completed. On August 15, 2007, Metropolitan of Voronezh and Borisoglebsky, Sergius consecrated crosses and the central dome, and on August 20, the day of the 175th anniversary of the relics of St. Mitrofan, the first Divine Liturgy took place in the church.
