About Organization
In the early 2000s, NiP was one of the most successful Counter-Strike players , according to GotFrag . Founders became Tommy " Potti " Ingemarsson and Emil " HeatoN " Christensen . Their first success was 1st place at the CPL World Championship 2001. [1] [2] [3]
“The project was conceived as a kind of lan team with bullet and elajten - members who were not with us in the lan (I knew them“ long ago ”from the Internet). We all played in a clan called [OF], which was a purely clan clan, but we added bullet and elajten to our squad. The clan leader in that team was weak in managing the team and not particularly interested in the game, so we decided to start something on our own and I came up with NiP. All this was new to me and I had to ask for help from tootzi in creating the clan’s website (which was needed to register on clanbase) and more. After that, we began to expand and take on a team of people who were not with us in the lan. ”
- Tommy „Potti“ Ingemarsson
History
- NiP was officially fixed as a name only by the end of 2000 and the beginning of 2001. [four]
- The next big change in NiP was the name change to e9 when in November 2000 they joined the EYEballers organization. Potti, Hyb, Pk, Kuros, Cogline, Medion, Ammis, Trasan, Bullet, kulspruta and Tootzi switched from NiP to e9.
- Their first success was a victory at the largest tournament of that time, the Cyberathlete Professional League World Championships , where they beat the favorites in the final Team 3D . But the team could not exist long without the sponsorship that NiP found in the face SK Gaming . So there were such teams as: SK Scandinavia and SK Sweden. Projects have been well developed. The prize fund for 2003 was $ 170,000 [5]
- In 2005, part of the players left SK Gaming. [6] . Tommy "Potti" Ingemarsson and Emil "HeatoN" Christensen, together with managers Peter Hedlund and Victor Lindqvist, are moving the organization to Sweden. Continue to show good results in the discipline of Counter-Strike. At that time, they are one of the most famous cyber sports organizations not from Asia, more than 100,000 unique addresses visit their Internet resource.
- In 2014 Robin " Fifflaren " Johansson leaves the team. It was decided to take the main part Michael " Maikelele " Bill.
- February 24, 2015 Mikail " Maikelele " Bill replaced by a Finnish sniper Alexi " allu " Yalli.
- December 7, 2015 Alexi " allu " Yuli left the team.
- December 28, 2015 replacing Alexi " allu " Jally joined Jacob " pyth " Mourujarvi.
- March 13, 2017 replacing Jacob " pyth " Mourujarvi joined William " draken " Sandin.
- June 12, 2017 replacing Adam " Friberg " Friberg joined Fredrick " REZ " Sterner.
- June 2, 2018 replacing William " draken " Sandin joined Jonas " Lekr0" Olofsson.
