Content
History
Near the village of Yuryevka there are Roman coins of the 1st-3rd centuries. n e., in the tracts of Vyazevtsy and Cherneche Gora 2 Early Slavic settlements (III – V centuries) were discovered [2] .
The first written mention of the village of Yuryevka dates from 1783. Soviet power was established in January 1918. Villagers fought on the fronts of World War II against German troops. A monument to the Hero of the Soviet Union pilot A. A. Bondar, who died in 1943 in battles against the Nazi invaders, was erected in Yuryevka [2] .
