Allan Mar [2] ( English Allan Maher , pronounced [ˈælən ma:] ; born July 21, 1950 ) is an Australian footballer who played as a goalkeeper and participated in the 1974 World Cup .

Biography
Allan Mar played for the Sutherland Sharks and Marconi Stallions clubs of the Australian National Football League. In 1979, as part of the Marconi Stallions, Mar became the league champion [3] .
Since 1974, he began to play for the second team of Australia. For the World Cup 1974 was included in the application as a reserve goalkeeper. In 1976, he held his debut match for the first national team - a friendly game with Indonesia . He participated in qualifying tournaments for the world championships of 1978 and 1982 , for which Australia failed to break through. He completed his career in the national team in 1981.
